Combat!

Los Angeles based electronic musician Mark Nieto has been making music under the moniker, COMBAT!, since 2006. From the humble beginnings of a multitracked, Casio SK-1 sampler keyboard onto several, more advanced processes, COMBAT! has always been striving to produce a sound unheard. 

What originally started as a secretive attempt to produce music outside the constraints of a band has evolved into a collaborative project, calling on help from other like minded musicians. Utilizing samples from records, found sounds, as well as the recordings of himself and his friends, he creates multi-textural pieces that give the listener a unique experience with each play.
